I like the name Anais Tullulah Ela for a girl and Steven Tyler James for a boy. ( I know they are long) My mom says people wiill pronunce anais like anus, when you read it how did you prounce it when you read it. And Steven Tyler is the guy from areosmith, I only plan on havingg kiids in 10 years will he get teaed even then??

First thing I thought was Anus. Sorry. I was just unsure of how to pronounce it. I looked it up and it's suppose to be pronounced a-na-EES. Which is pretty. Maybe it you spelled it Annais, people would pronounce it correctly.
I like Steven Tyler James a lot. Very cute name for a boy.

First thing I thought was anus when I saw the name, sorry.
I love Steven Tyler but I wouldn't name my kid after him. If you want to though, go for it. I don't see why he would be teased, he'll probably end up just going by Steven anyway.
I wouldn't worry about it anyway. By the time 10 years goes by you'll probably like something completely different.

Yes, it will get mistaken for Anus. go with your gut on this one. If you can change the spelling of it at all then do - not really sure if you can without someone trying to make fun of it. Steven Tyler James is okay. Yes, there is a possibility he could be made fun of, but it wouldn't be too bad.

Steven Tyler is a pretty basic name. I don't think anybody will tease him, but your girl...........I pronounced it anus when I read it. I would pick something different for a first name. Maybe Anabelle? But definaltey not Anais.

And Steven Tyler will still probably still be teased in 10 year. Aerosmith has already made it a couple of decades, whose to say they won't make it a few more?

I love hte name steven tyler but i am a big aerosmith fan. I do not think he will get teased. most the people he will grow up witha nd be in school will even know who aerosmuth is. so i would so do that one. as for the other name. i do not like that one. that child will get made fun of and to be honest i did not know how to pronounce that name one bit

Love them both! My sister is called Anais and it has never been a problem for her, people usually know how to pronounce it and if they don't they just ask - she's never been called anus!! Good Luck!

I know how to pronounce Anais because I speak French and it is the name of a perfume by Cacharel. I am not sure how Anglophones would pronounce it. Your Mom is right, kids can be cruel. Maybe you can spell it Annayis.
