not those exact words but I did walk out once..I was glad to screw the boss he was such a prick, but I felt kinda bad for screwing my co-workers, they weren't too bad, and then when I got home I went oh crap, I don't have a job. But I got another one like 2 weeks later so it's all good. And in the 2 months after that like 6 more people quit, so I felt kinda good about that too. I found out later they promoted that manager. Figures.

Grassy as an Electrical Engineer has never quit a single job. Grassy is not a quitter as it doesn't fit into his personality. There are managers that are lousy. But its like this Joni, if you were smart enough to make the right choices in life, then you wouldn't be in the position you are today in working for someone you don't want to work for. I know it gives you satisfaction to say that but its actually your life you hate and not your job.

no, i have never said that and i probably wont since that would look bad on your record, right before you quit is when you have to be best to your boss so they can be a good recommendation.

Yes, something to that effect....in 1998....it did feel good.......I didn't like the way he was treating my fellow associates.....he liked to embarrass them in front of me and other associates......I took him aside a couple of times to tell him I thought he should handle individual employee issues in the privacy of his office. He told me to mind my own business....I eventually got fed up with his ruthless demeanor and told him exactly what I thought of him and left......it did feel good to put this heartless jerk in his place and of course in front of everyone else!

I don't think I've ever said that to anyone. I don't have that kind of nerve. But I do cuss all the way home.

Not quite, but when I worked for the police I told a senior officer that I wouldn't call him "Sir" until he had earned my respect! He explained that he had been an officer for 20 years so I said "my Dad was a copper for 27 years, and I still won't call him sir". He was not best pleased!...
