I am a Dental Hygienist and I make good money but it is true that there's a cap and that's it. I've also noticed that those who do this mainly for the money get burned out real fast and end up hating their jobs. Then what are you trained for? Nothing else!
It is rewarding for me because you help people not only with Dental health but with their over all health since DR's have related gum disease to heart attacks and strokes.
One good thing also is you can work part time, have a family and make good money. Bad thing also is little to no benefits.
Fashion Merchandising does sound much more exciting!

Fashion merchandising. You can go up and up in that industry and there's a lot of glossy mags making billions. In dental hygiene, there's only so far you can go.
