I don't buy a lot of junk food but I do get a little bit. I usually always have fresh fruits and veggies for snacking but I do like to have something sweet from time to time.

my problem is that I have to hide it so my husband doesn't eat it all. He can't eat just one or two, he'll eat the whole package of goodies. If it were just the kids and I, it would last a week or two but with him, it lasts one day maybe two, if he knows it's there.

how many of you out there have the same problem?

I have talked to him about moderation. He lacks self control in a lot of areas in his life, food being one of them.

My husband is a junk food addict too but I do not hide it from him. He knows that if he continues on the path he is on odds are he'll end up obese with major health issues but like most people just either don't care or feels it can not happen to him. Right now he is lucky he is very physically fit but sweets are his weakness. I have tried not to buy any at all because I do not approve of our children consuming them when there are better choices they can make but when he's with me at the store thats an asile that he'll make a point to go down. He has a 6yr old daughter from a previous relationship with the same sweet tooth issue and she is the same weight as my 13yr old child yet he doesnt feel the need to restrict her intake as I restrict it.

No. I don't eat junk food or sweets, so he can eat it all if he wants to.

I'm wondering if you knew this before you married him? Why was it ok before marriage and not after.
I do not think what he is doing is right. I also don't think that he needs the temptation in the house, but that's just my opinion.

I don't, and why do you? You should not be controlling your husband like that! He is a grown man, for gosh' sake.....

Not I. My husband is happy, he doesn't need an endorphin rush to feel good.

Maybe if your husband had a happier life, maybe he wouldn't seek happiness in food.
