lol! I seriously have a hard time with grammer I forget there is a spell check and it is frustrating for me to communicate without appearing illerate. So to all the kids out there stay in school and study its hard to be taken seriously as an adult when you spell like a child! I dropped out of school in the 8th grade and I regret it very much.

I think many of the folks who complain about grammar are just ranting. They're complaining about how schooling standards have fallen, or they're just being snobs. I don't think their corrections are meant to be constructive.

But I admit that some of the grammar and spelling here make me cringe. But I'm not a perfect speller, and I don't know all the grammar rules. And I'm here to ask and answer questions, not correct people. So as long as I can understand what the questioners mean, I'll ignore grammar and spelling errors. If I don't understand the meaning of a question, I won't answer it.

It bugs me when grammar corrections are just snobbishness. But it also bugs me when folks break grammar rules just for the purpose of breaking the rules.

it depends on the person. If they are cool and seem like they're trying to help then I'm OK with that. Now on the flipside if they seem like they are making fun or trying to be a dick then I get pissed.

how about when you are typing and someone looks over your shoulder a) they see all the mistakes b) dosen't it seem like you make more when they are there???
