The book is awesome, the movie couldn't be any better considering that Ron Howard had to tell the whole story in a couple of hours; which is not easy to do, given the bent for details that Dan Brown has in writing his books; so, from 1 to 10 = 11 to the book and 10 to the movie;)

I think you definitely needed to read the book into order to truly understand the movie. Don't get me wrong, it's a hard novel to develop into a movie because it's meant to be more a detailed oriented thriller rather than action, etc. Ron Howard did a good job with what he could.
But I know LOTS of folks who didn't read the book but the saw the movie, and walked out of the theater going, "I don't get it. Why did ____?" and I'd have to pull information out of the book in order to explain the full details of what they were asking...

i imagine the movie is more advantageous suited than the e book. i have study the e book and that i felt it truly is replaced into dull! too a lot data and the author has no technique of scripting this. of route, in case you opt for to study non-fiction or some type of historic books. you should like it interior how that is, yet i do not. in my opinion, i imagine i love the way of directing and sound blending interior the movie. The soundtrack replaced into nice yet I might want to assert that Hans Zimmer composed different video clips soundtrack more advantageous suited than this one. My fried informed me that possibly this movie desires human beings to pay interest on the movie more advantageous than the soundtrack. i wager i experience him. And in case you'll purchase the soundtrack. do not purchase the album. purchase it in iTunes with techniques from music. i advise music a million, 4, 7, 8, 13, 14. yet, i imagine music 13 and 14 are the perfect interior the album. I shall price this movie for 7.5/10 because i love Da Vinci's artwork. It replaced into in contact and staggering to understand some thing more advantageous about Christianity. and that i love the way it describes about Christians. although, this movie isn't staggering besides.

I absolutely loved the book but the movie was very dissapointing!!! he left out some major stuff and he totally changed the ending for Sophie. i would say that the movie is 50% acurate. i can't believe Dan brown allowed that to go on film. But since they did have to cut out some parts it was an okay movie. I suggest that if you want to enjoy the movie don't read the book. Read the book after you watch it. I read the book before the movie and was let down after we watched the movie!

I think Ron Howard was very faithful to the book. Saying that, it was very exciting to read but it just did not translate well into movie language. It was a mental adventure, not an action flick. You can never tell until you try and I think he did his best and was respectful to the book.

He did a fine job, but he left out small details in the book that would have made the movie more interesting. I think it would have been too long though.

you will enjoy the book better than the movie if you read it first (unless you're a movie fan then it doesn't matter). I did read it first and i really enjoyed it to the point of reading it again until i am satisfied.
