i am having a router with 4 outlets.my connection speed is 6500 kbps.so i guess i get 6500/4 kbps.i want more .what if i get myself one more lancard..so i get 2 lancard and connect it to the 2 outs..will i get 6500/2 kbps.will it work.anyone tried before.please give me a logical answer.i know this thing i think .must have someone who thought it before!

What you are trying to accomplish is not done the way you asked.

What you would need is two internet connections on the same subnet, and some type of load balancing device. This will balance the load between the two internet connections. This could potentially double your speed. It may be hard to find a site to get that high of a speed though.

NO it will slow down your downloads. if your connection speed is 6500kbps it will divided amongst the network cards. if you have a router it doesnt do any good. you are only spliting the internet connection.

um, connection will only be divided if two or more is using the connection, and adding another lan card wont do the trick.. :)
