What I've heard is that Coppeland and Summers want to play together. If Sting accepts to join the group, they're going to bring "The Police" back. Is this true?

I'm a great fan of The Police and Sting, but I understant that time has passed, and they might not want to be still doing the same things they used to do when they were younger.

However, I would really be happy if I could watch them playing together once again. I could have been in that night when they reunited in their induction into Rock Hall of Fame in 2003, unfortunately for one night only. At least, I can watch the video at VH1 site.

They certainly could reunite, since all of them as still alive.

However, I have heard that while they like each other personally, they still find it hard to play together. In one interview I saw with Sting, he talked about playing just one song together at his wedding, and in the course of just playing that one song they started to get annoyed with each other.

Plus, Sting doesn't need the money, so there is less motivation for him to want to reunite. Coppeland and Summers, while I doubt they are 'hurting' financially, they have more motivation to want to get back together. I don't think Sting will agree.

But, all things are possible, and I would certainly try and get tickets.

Hope not.

Let's let sleeping dogs lie. It's not as if Sting needs the money either.

Well... They CAN reunite, but I have heard VERY strong words that it will NEVER happen. (But the the Eagles did Hell Freezes Over.)

Too many dinosaurs on the circuit as it is. Send 'em to the end of the pier and move on. Rolling bones are gone.
