Ok, I have added up all the real/fake answers, and heres what I came up with :
Fake-31
Real-13
1 cactus
1 person with one of each
and 1 person with nothing at all
It looks like fake has won by a long shot, but we will see if i get any more answers by tommorow! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

We bought our first fake one last year but it will stay in the box this year because for the first time in 18 years my 92 year old father is coming to my house instead of my brother's for Christmas. This year we go real since Dad used to grow Christmas trees on his farm in the 70's. Can you imagine how big those trees are now? Wow!

My husband and I have a fake one for now...it kills me though! I've never had a fake tree before. We bought it a couple of years ago because money was really tight and real tree was just out of our budget when a fake one from Target was just $20. And I wasn't about to do Christmas without a tree! So I settled and we agreed until we buy a house we'll use the fake one. Well, it may be another year or so before we can buy one again but I have a newborn daughter who's learning to crawl and I'm glad I don't have to worry about needles for now. As for the smell...I miss it but I'm fine without it for now. Happy Holidays!

I have a fake tree. When I was little, we always had real trees, and we'd plant them in the yard after Christmas. However, my mother and I were always so sick at Christmas, and we finally realized that we were allergic to the trees. So then we started leaving the tree outdoors until Christmas eve and then my Dad would wash it down with water and we'd bring it indoors for a day. It didn't bother us that way. But I love Christmas trees, so I just got a fake one for my family so that we could enjoy it for a whole month.

We are planing on a real tree, it is the first time we have had Christmas at home for several years and so we want to do something special. We have a small (4') fake tree that we use when we won't be at home.

I havent put it up yet because we're supposed to get a real one if we can find a really pretty one as usual and it would get kinda yucky by christmas if we had it already. We've done both though, I do like the smell of the fresh ones, and they take less time to put up lol. But growing up we always had a fake one and I was fine with that too.

Real. Fake ones just aren't the same. They don't have the smell, look, or texture of a real tree. Plus, half the fun is going out in the snow to find one and cut it down.

A real tree....they smell so nice and look so beautiful with the lights and decorations...my family always had a real tree while I was growing up, so it means a lot to me to have one for Christmas.
