For an inspection like that, you should expect to pay $100- $250 depending on the labor rate of the shop!

Just a good "Look Over" and maybe an estimate of needed repairs, I going to guess $100. I know a place that will check out the Front Suspension for $10 and apply that to the Labor if the person want them to fix. Some places may do a specific inspection for free; like a Brake place may look at your Brakes. Autozone may check your alternator for free. You may have to go to 3-4 different places and get away for $50. If, your AC was working, it not need looked at, but, the Belts and Hoses do.
So, you need Suspension, Brake wear, Belts and Hoses, Antifreeze and other fluids checked and you should be go to go.

I totally agree with Stretchy here. There have to be about 7 or 8 auto mechanics shops within several miles of where you live. Give them all a call and get extimates for each.
They will more than likely give you a printout of everything they will check, the labor charge for each and the total price of what you'd want done.
Personally, I would never trust an open question/answer internet service for a good answer to the type of question you ask, especially when the best answer is only a telephone call away.

Why are you asking us this question? Pick up the yellow pages, find 3-4 auto repair shops and give them a call. Make a list of everything you want inspected so that you tell each of them the same thing every time. Get an estimate.

Depends on where you live and the going rate for labor for the mechanic! Around here it would be (if no problems) like $25-$50 for general service inspection at a dealership!!

As a lisenced mechanic,I can say that for what you want done,it would take a repair shop no more than 2 hours to look over your vehicle comepletly.Depending on thier hourly rate, what you pay may vary.
