yes and no - nobody likes Materazzi because he's a dirty player, but Zidane has so much experience that he should be able to ignore such jibes and focus on the task of winning his country another World Cup.

In a human sense, Yes. I´d have done the same but on the nose.
In a proffesional sense, NO! they would have won the World Cup if he hadn´t been sent off, and the numerous kids viewing the violence .
