dont bother getting norton, its great when your paying for it, but if you change your mind it is a pig to get rid of and will KEEP giving you reminders that they want your money.
a much better option is to use AVG free firstly its free, secondly its a hell of alot easier to use than norton and even came ahead of nortons full version in some tests a while back. also you can buy a full version that comes with a few better features.
Also if your still looking for a 'naughty version' of anti virus software Kaspersky constantly comes top in reviews and tests

Get Norton Internet Security 2007. It is great and pay for it like the rest of us.

I'll second the AVG free - I started to use it based on the recommendation of my cousin (system engineer, plus 2-3 exams away from top Cisco certificate), and never regreted it.
Another option is e.g. Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic.
