People wear Santa hats in public because they are idiots. I like the holiday season just like the next man, but lets be real, I don't own anything they would coordinate with a damn Santa hat! Bamma's take that crap off if your not in your school play.

COULD IT BE THEY HAVE THE SPIRIT OF GIVING? A TRUE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT? I KNOW CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT THE BIRTH OF JESUS, AND SO DID THE ORIGINAL BISHOP NICHOLAS WHO GAVE TO THE POOR. THIS IS WHERE MODERN SANTA CAME FROM. IT JUST DEVELOPED INTO A LEGEND AND GOT COMMERCIALIZED ALONG THE WAY.
I KNOW IT IS EASY TO GET THAT BAH HUMBUG MENTALITY DURING A HEAVY COMMERCIALIZED WORLD, BUT LET'S TAKE IT BACK TO THE THOUGHTS OF WHY THERE IS EVEN A CHRISTMAS.
