Last night i went to gay sauna(it was my first time to do so)....i was suprised with the amount of good looking people there and amount of gay men in general....
i asked my self is it ok to go to the sauna without feeling ashame of that?
or i should be ashamed and cover my my face when i go out.....dono
what do you think of that

Personally, I'm more of a "gay jacuzzi" Man myself lol..If you too ashamed to do something, don't do it. Life is too short to live in shame. On the other hand, if ya like going there and you already said it was hot, enjoy yourself. Seems like your trying to feel guilt for someone else ideas of what is right and wrong. Relax-take in the waters and the steam and the scenery...To thine oneself be true.....Peace!

I think saunas can be an extension of the so called 'gym syndrome' whereby people go there purely to pose or gawk! However you should be proud of yourself whoever or whatever you are. So, don't feel ashamed and think you have to cover up because you haven't got the body perfect. I'm sure you make up for it in other areas, that those with the 'body' lack!

I think gay saunas/bathhouses are wonderful compared to bars. Bars are full of drunks, cigarette smoke, and mind games. In bathhouses, there's a certain honesty in that there's no question about what people are looking for, and you get to see the whole package right from the start. There's also the benefit of not taking a complete stranger back to your own home.

Sounds like a self-esteem question. Look deep within you and anchor yourself on your strengths.. Then, hold on to that when you go to a sauna. Oh well, it would be easier if you are buff, but sauna is for everyone.

If you had a good time why cover your face. We have a hot tub on our deck, in July we have a gay get together with around 150 men, we have a great time.
