I have had 8 different cats in the past 20 years. The one thing that I have come to realize is that no matter how good a kitty is, sooner, or later, curiosity, WILL, get the best of them!! Two days is not a fair time-frame to judge how your kitty is going to handle all of the bobbles and such, flashing from a christmas tree. I have had cats that would not acknowledge a christmas tree for a couple weeks, only to get up one morning to find the tree turned over. I have even seen presents partially opened, bows all over the living room, and once, even a bow stuck to the tail of one cat. Some cats can refrain from letting their natural curiosity get the best of them, but most, will not. Out of the 8 cats I have had, only 2 of them that have ignored a christmas tree. We have 2 cats now, a 5 year old female, and a 13 year old male. Out of these 2, the male is the one fullest of mischief. He not only won't leave the tree alone, he insist on making a game of it. He knows we don't want him messing with the tree, so he will go around it, under it, and do whatever it takes to get a rise out of me. He will sit on the end table, look at me until he sees that I am watching him, and smack at an ornament. When I stand up, he will wait until I am inches from him, and take off. This has gone on for several minutes at a time. He will keep coming back, just to mess with me. Although it sometimes gets irritating, I can't help but laugh at him. He seems to have a little bit of, PEST, in him. You know, the older I get, the more I look forward to his Christmas mischief! The main thing to remember, is to, NOT PUT TINSEL, on the tree if your cat does like to play with it. Tinsel, if swallowed by a cat, or dog, will cut up their insides!

I have such a bad cat, and no it won't leave the christmas tree alone. She actually jumps on the furniture to eat plants, so the christmas tree, with the lights and all, that's just more than she can take

Normally one of my cats (i have 2 cats) trys to get in it, but so far this year, we've had it up 9 days and none of my cats have gone near it. i guess they're also good kitties. last year, one of my cats climbed inside the tree and lay on the branch. Lol. but so far tihs year, they're leaving the tree alone :-)

I wrapped some presents last night and am keeping them under the extra table in the dining room and the kitten and her mommy have already bothered them. I don't know how they're going to treat the tree.

No, he climbs the tree and sleeps under the tree. I had to take all the ornaments off because he was playing soccer with them. My tree looks horrible right now because of him.

We went through three christmas trees one year because of a dog we owned many years ago. He kept trying to climb it (he would climb any tree outside he could get his paws on lol)

Mine basically flings herself wildly at it. She assumes she's some sort of tiger, stalking her prey in the bushes. She'll get int the tree, siton one of the branches until you walk by and then just rip into your leg. She's scared a ton o fmy friends - it's hilarious.
