I don't like all the sloooooooooow songs that the church has recommened, I have been asked to keep it very melodic and nice, I want something truly nice and meaningful...thank you

God in the Planning has a nice Irish tune if you like that, wriiten by John Bell published by GIA
We Will Serve the Lord written by Michael Joncas published by GIA
Blessing the Marriage by John Bell, published by GIA
All of these are in the Gather Hymnal and should be acceptable to your church. I am assuming that you are not having a wedding Mass since you didn't say that. If you are having Mass there are many other options in Gather for the Mass as well.

This is easy - there is only one piece of music. "ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL". This says everything. It will brighten your day - even more !! Listen to the words carefully.
"All things wise and wonderful - the Lord God made them all".
"The purple headed mountain - the stream running by...." You could have nothing better for a wedding.
You could enter the church and leave with the organ music. During the service.......... SHOUT THE WORDS, to Heaven above. Bless you on your wedding day.

at our Catholic church we were not allowed to use any other music except for what they usually sing :( but then agin our preist is an A**...he's 75 yrs. old so maybe he's just OLD!! haha

pick songs that you like and already have in your music collection at home. why put music you've never heard of into your wedding? just pick stuff that is conservative, i guess, so as not to offend anyone (highly doubtful, but i don't know your priest). classical music works too and there is some that is not slow.
