We were not married & we broke up a year ago. I dont want him back because I know I deserve better, but there are times when I just wonder what would of happened if we had stayed 2gether.Is this me being pittyfull or just another stage? ''no sarcasm please''

No its not wrong at all...there are some situations when you don't have time to think about your ex...but when you have nothing to do... then you try to imagine what if....

I'm sure you are clear why you broke up with him...and all those things would bother you again if you were with him...so don't panic it is good to think in that way...so when you jump to other better person, you wont do the same mistake twice...

For some reason people and situations start to look better as time passes, one only remembers the good times,take a piece of paper and make two columns one for good times and one for bad and document everything that happened in this relationship. It will help you in making the right decision. If you have more bad experiences listed then good ones, you know how lucky you are to be out of that relationship.Good Luck.

I think that's normal. We all have a tendency to focus on the good in an ex relationship until we concentrate on what the bad was. Time will make it better.

that is not only a good thing it is an idication that the love has not left you. retaining love is for others is good.
i hope the two of you do get back together if its safe to do so.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I think that everyone ponders on "what if" at one time or another. If they don't, they are not being honest with themselves.
