I have not tried it myself but my mom has been using it for quite some time now. She tells EVERYONE about it. Her skin always looks natural, not caked like other foundations and powders can make your skin appear. She tans a lot so her skin can be very dry and the powder never makes her skin dry. So I guess if I wore foundation or powder I would probably buy Bare Minerals.

I used to use Sheer Cover. If you're living on an allowance, you'll just have to decide how important it is to you to have make up. If you decide to try it, I don't see why you should waste more money on Bare Minerals because I know Sheer Cover works really well. Also, a cheaper alternative you can get at Wal*Mart, Target, etc. is Loreals Bare Naturale. I use it now because I dont have enough money for Sheer Cover. I love it. There is also a new one from Nuetrogena called Mineral Sheers. I haven't used it yet, but have heard good things about it.
I will say the Loreal and Nuetrogena foundations are quite expensive compared to the others in the store. The reason I opt for them is because when I was using Sheer Cover, often times I would be sent a restock and charged for it when I didn't need it yet and it wasted money. This way you buy what you want when you want.

My friend recently bought it, around $60 and gave me a makeover w/ it. I absolutely loved it. I'm not much of a makeup person because I can never find the right shade, my face always has dry and oily patches so no matter what type or brand of makeup I use it always seems to pronouce the dryness further by flaking or just looking un-natural. Also blush never seemed to look natural on me either. Bare minerals was a whole new experience for me, the cream they give you works wonders on your skin, it worked fantastic on mine and didn't clog my pores which is my main problem. The makeup was completely weightless and breathable, my skin was finally one natural color, not patchy or fake and I had real color to my cheeks. I was mostly amazed by the blush, overallI had a look that I thought only celebrities could achieve. I'm asking my boyfriend for the set for xmas :D I really do believe that it is worth every penny, it may seem ridiculous that a brush will cost so much, but it makes a difference also.

you should attempt time-honored minerals it is an excellent kind that would not contain the elements in different makeup that can make those with tender dermis smash out (like bismuth) and it has a great style of colorations and formulation that each body conceal nicely so that you'll locate something that is perfect for you! you may also ask questions contained in the communicate board on their internet web site (lots of pleasant ladies there that can help you!) and also you may want to order a loose pattern kit (yet you do ought to pay for delivery) which consists of 3 foundations a million blush and a million concealer and those pattern jars took me more desirable than a month to end!

I just got it a few days ago and love it. I had been using liquid foundation because the powder I used before didn't give enough coverage. However, the liquid I had been using was oil-based and made my face oily, and all the water-based ones I found smelled wied and didn't match my skin tone. This is the first powder I've found that give good coverage, and doesn't look caked on or fake. I love the look it gives and so far I've had no problems with oily or dry skin from it.

Bare Minerals is a godsend ... it covers beautifully, looks completely natural, and it stays on it the heat. The products go on so smoothly and don't leave streaks and lines around your jaw like many liquid foundations. They also feel weightless and are not irritating.
This is the greatest makeup i have ever used!

I have recently begun using this line, and I absolutley love it. I have already seen improvements of my skin, and its so light and natural you barely remember you are wearing makeup. It is a bit pricey, but if you purchase the starter kit it should last you at least 6 months.

I did, I liked it, but I found it to be too pricey. I use Arbonne's Mineral Powder foundation now. Same effect, great quality, and about half the price. For ordering info you can read my profile.

yes, and while i thought it was lame on the commercial, a friend gave me some, and im hooked! it really is the most natural looking makeup. it also takes car of my nose looking oily, and doesnt highlight the little spots of flaky skin like regular foundation and powder do. all in all, i love it.
