Not at all, thanks for asking though.

By the way, has asking this question made you ashamed to be you? Because I'm ashamed I gave it the seconds it took me to type this answer.

Being ashamed as an American is not shared by bad judgment from others I do not agree with. I can still be American and disagree with politics, I hope the world understands all who live here are not agreeing with the current political scene.

NO ONE makes me ashamed that I am an American. Sometimes, I am ashamed of some of our Americans - Bush is not on my list that I am ashamed of. Any American that takes out his ire on our President is not paying attention.

No because I was an American long before GWB and god willing I will enjoy being an American long after he is gone from office. Like the man, Respect the office, upset over policies.

Absolutely not! President Bush restored a lot of dignity to the office of the presidency (That's really not a hard thing to do, considering the fact that he followed Bill Clinton).

If anything, I'm ashamed of the idiots who actually elected Bill Clinton and voted for Al Gore, John Kerry, and all the rest of those liberal fools who have yet to give us a plan to fix the Middle East but complain about it 24/7.

Also, what country are you from? Are you ashamed of your leader? Or maybe you moved to the United States like so many other people because they know that if they speak their opinion in other countries they'd be shot on the spot!

Certainly not!! But, people like you make me ashamed of being an American because you really think you speak for everyone, don't you?

Absolutely Not... I don't care for what he has done, his policies, or his administration but one thing I would never be ashamed of is being American.. I love my country, I respect what it stands for, and appreciate all past, current and future soldiers who have, and will fight to keep this country was it was created to be- I think we have bad things in our history, and we haven't always done the right things but I think we have learned from them and it has made us a better country in the end

George W. Bush has me ashamed of being a Republican, and ashamed of being a human being - but I'm proud to be an American, even though I despise what Bush has done to ruin the reputation, honor and goodwill of this nation.
Hopefully, someone with a conscience, with compassion for the world and the environment, and with love in his heart will replace this evil devil in our next national election. -RKO-

Not him personally. Every country has its genius's and dopes. I am ashamed, however, to be among a populace that elected him (that's what Diebold says) twice. Even though I never cast a vote in his favor, I am stained nonetheless.
