I was considered part of the blunt tools when i tried to get into a college. THe consellor said i was not "creme of the creme" but guess where i am. UNSW Sydney!!!! it's one of the best architectural universities ever in australia. I wanted to go to england but i was rejected but that never stopped me. if you want something, fight for it!!! don't let others stop you, the only person who can stop you is yourself. I was even accepted in wentworth institute of technology Boston MA. it was too expensive (40 grand) so i chose sydney (12 grand) because of it's price-education value universities.

you lose if you give up.

It was quite a while ago, but when I was in about 8th grade, I was trying out with six of my friends for a talent show. We each had matching costumes and were going to sing. The music teacher that was helping the group pulled me aside and told me that it would be better if I didn't sing. I was so crushed that I stopped singing other than by myself. It was pretty devastating. It had not only an affect on my ability to sing, but in feeling that I now don't "fit in." The other girls didn't seem real affected that I had been taken out. I'm still a loner today.

Don't let that get you down, they were being nice and more then likely you did not have the money, or your parents or there parents!
Snoody group there!

I am sure there are experiences I could share, but at the moment I can not think of any. I take this kind of thing as a stepping stone for more important things...

Perseverence overcomes rejection, my dear!

Read this life lesson:

At the age of seven, a young boy and his family were forced out of their home, and the boy was forced to go to work. When the boy was nine, his mother passed away. He had a job as a store clerk, but lost it when he was twenty. The young man wanted to go to law school, but had no education. He went into debt when he was twenty-three, to become a partner in a small store. It was only three years later that his business partner died, and left him with a debt that took years for him to repay.

He dated a girl for four years and, at the age of twenty-eight, decided to ask her to marry him. She turned him down. Thirty-seven years into his life, he was elected to Congress... on his THIRD try. He then failed to be re-elected. This man's son died when he was only four years old. At age forty-five, he ran for the Senate...and failed to be elected. He persisted at politics and ran for the vice-presidency at age forty-seven, and again lost. Finally, at the age of fifty-one, this man was elected President of the United States. His name was Abraham Lincoln.
