You can't - its a security step to stop being scamming genuine eBay sellers. Selling on eBay costs money, even if the buyer then doesn't pay up! The moral of the story is not to let your brother use your computer, especially for eBay trading if you know he isn't going to comply with the rules. The only way is if you join up again using a different computer but you will have to register new details i.e. name, address and credit card details as they won't let you sign up otherwise. The IP address can't be changed, its fixed on purpose so that internet activity can be tracked by the relevant authorities including the police.

The only way this would truely be a problem is if you have a static IP. Otherwise, try disabling your internet connection and then re-connect. In most cases, you will then be assigned a new IP address.
I would also contact eBay and explain the situation to them and ask for their assistance.
Good luck!

No way you can change the IP address.
what you can do is say to ebay that you are a seperate party and that you are not connected with him, that you pay your own bills etc.
ALso ask ebay what happens if you sell your PC to someone else( cause the IP address will still be the same)

If it was him with his account - and not him in your account - you can probably argue the case with ebay but I think they are pretty strict on that type of thing. If you have the account set up at home could you perhaps open a new account from your work computer or perhaps a friends computer?

So why hasnt your brother paid. Youre related to him, take the issue up with him before he damages your family name by being an unprincipled twerp. Just think of the damege he can do to your credit rating when he defaults on a loan because he's used to being an unprincipled twerp.

try using ip changer. If that doesnt work. you need to prove to them that this is your account and not your brothers buy paying a fee for ID verify. IN that case they require a copy of your photo id. That should do it.

Get him to pay his 'effin' bills!
Does he really think he can go through life screwing people the way you have admitted he has done so!!!
It's a downer that you have to suffer, but, unlucky....
How are E-Bay supposed to know that your, ahem, brother is the one screwing people when it could just as easily be you with a different account on the same computer!
