the Quarter backs use these usually when it is cold outside, like lets say Tom Brady. He only uses his when it is either snowing, raining or chilly outside. so its pretty much a handwarmer / keep your important hands dry to throw the ball. Now from what other people said, No there is nothing actually in them, if there was the quarter back and other players would get hurt when sacking him because the items would be forced into the players by the plastic armor on the quarter backs waist. Sort of like placing a nail on a wall and running into it, to the same affect lol.
