Any one know of /Know where I can find information on possible employment during MTF transition? I need to start full time living during my transition stage and would like to find a job in understanding situation?

I don't know of any agencies that deal specifically with helping transsexual or transgendered people into employment, but, if you are in the UK this link provides some useful information:

A number of the larger companies have specific rules in place, right now, concerning hiring and employment discrimination against TS individuals. Honeywell, Microsoft, and many others. Find out which companies these are. They are a good place to start. Transitioning can be a very difficult time, in general. Getting a job during this time can only be much more difficult. Have you tried discussing your situation with your boss? I doubt you can get fired for undergoing MTF transition and you might be able to move Departments or something to make the transition easier.

i work for a very understanding boss who totally understands what transition is.....after all she is going thru it herself. she had better be, i am self employed!!!
but seriously, there are very many companies out there that are TG/TS friendly. just let them know up from about the transition.

can you work for yourself? i am currentlyn setting myself as self employed so i wont have any comments from work colleagues - odd looks from cusomer base but that will only be short term whilst doing the job for them - tiling
