Include fair play, skill, intelligence (i think i spelt that wrong) attitude etc...

For instance i wouldnt say ronaldo because although he is very good, he is too quick to cheat... what do you think

i would have to say Giggs would have to be one of them

Gerrard at the moment.

probably Giggs since start of premiership.

but they will all soon pale into insignificance, when the class that is Aaron Lennon, begins to really show through!!give him another year of experience and people will see just how great he is!!

by the way you have a pretty bad record with your spelling...but you did spell intelligence correctly this time!!

Stevie G and JT gotta be up there for presently playing but if you are including past prem players then its a straight fight between Dennis Bergkamp, he had everything as a player, and the one and only Gianfranco Zola for fair play, skill, intelligence, first touch, ability, and just general attitude towards the game there was no one better. So far this season though the player that has suprised me the most is David James, he is superman, did you see that save from gareth barry's quick free kick on sat? the guys a hero. Signing of the summer, not sheva, not ballack, not carrick, its gotta be Martin o'neil. Done wonders for villa. I know thats not the question but i get carried away.

Rooney without a doubt. He keeps United going and is by the far the most creative all round player in the Premiership.

Michael Essien.

He is the complete player. He is defensive, offensive, he can tackle and pass and is strong on the ball. He has a huge role in the Chelsea midfield that sometimes goes unnoticed and unappreciated, somewhat like Claude Makelele.
