You have a lot of maturing ahead of you. Your acting out like a 5 year old. The complaints you have are for material things that do not serve any practical fulfillment. Your friends did not forget your birthday as much as you make it sound. They probably didnt know about it. Write down the name of 5 of your friends and then write their birthdates next to their names. Bet you don't know their birthdays either. Your feelings are a little hurt and I am sorry to sound mean, but, your at a place in your life when you need to act grown up now.

be thankful for what you have. and until you turn of age and you still live with your parents you have to follow there rules. I know its not fair. but they love you and only want the best for you. having all those material things doesn't mean nothing. hey you have two parents that love you. and they try to do the best for you. once you turn of age you can get piercing. when i was 17 years old i had to be in the house by 9. and all my friends were out. but in the long run im glad i had that restriction on me , it made me a better person . and if your really upset sit down and tak to your parents . but they are only looking out for your welfare.

Sounds like you're going through some growing pains; you want everything now, but that isn't how life works. Be patient. Not everyone gets everything they want. As you grow up, and mature, the things you want will change. One day, you'll look back on how you feel now, and will probably laugh at yourself. I'm not trying to be mean with you, just real. As for your mother, that's how they are during the middle teenage years, things will get better as you grow older.

I grew up in a house where I had to follow everything my mom wanted us to do. I had no choice as I was living under my parents' roof. I believe I grew up to be a responsible adult - and I owe it to my mom.
As a younger person, you ought to be open to older people's suggestions. If you disagree, just wait to be much older then do whatever you want to do. In the meantime, maybe you can communicate your concerns with your mom such as your weight issue - but bottomline, it's still your mom's say.

It isn't the world's job to give you stuff.
If you really want DVDs and cellphones, get a job, save your money and buy them.
And I can't imagine your Mom is pressuring you to lose weight, let alone 20lbs when you weigh 105lbs and are 6',1"...!
Be thankful for what you have, and stop feeling sorry for yourself.

Finish the school, get a job and buy whatever you want. There are a lot of people that they forgot their birthdays and didn't get a present for many years.
