A university final exam, not high school :)

At both the undergrad and graduate level never more than a week before. Basically you either know the bulk of the information or you don't.

I would just brush up on key statistics and for my MBA run some practice problems. I discovered my freshman year in college that I could over study and do more damage than good.

The best idea is to start reviewing the first week. I felt it was really beneficial at the University level to not only take notes during class, but within a day or two transpose the notes onto the computer. It refreshed the information, helped me categorize, and it gave me a sense of accomplishment in both comprehension and sense of control. Good luck!

Experts say you should start at least one week ahead for re-reading material, reviewing notes, etc. as needed, studying some each day. The 4-week figure above is even better.

Me, I am a procrastinator so I always waited until the day or night before (not recommended). I admire those people who can start early.

I always found that if I kept up with the material during the semester that I didn't have to study for the final.

If you haven't started yet -- start now.

4 weeks. Atleast.

And the amount of work doubles every week.
