There was a guy on the news this morning saying that more orders will be placed with online shops today than any other day in the year. Last year the day was 6 days later in December.

Also, I swear the shops are busier today than they were at the same time last year! So many people wandering around putting expensive things on their credit cards!

It sure seems like the season started earlier this year. I keep thinking I only have a week or two left to get everything done, until I realize its still the beginning of December.

Where I live, most people just started putting up their Christmas decor last week. So to me it came later this year than last year. I think it just puts people in a good spirit to see all of the decorations out. Happy Holidays

YES!! I saw some of my neighbors putting up Christmas stuff around Halloween. And some stores were playing Christmas music by the end of Oct. It was just toooooooo much for me to go into the supermarket at Thanksgiving and see Santa hanging around!!! Way to early this year!! ( or at least for me it was!!)

I think so. While it was Halloween some stores had up the Christmas goods up at the same time. Maybe a retail game to keep the shoppers purchasing items early. More retail mind games

Yes! I saw Christmas things in the stores in August, and the dreadful music was playing in some stores in October. Disgusting!

The bling is up in my area outside most of the houses and I love it. I think it officially starts on 1st December now, but earlier than that is madness.

Yes I think it has I work for LJS and before we even had Halloween, my boss went and bought three artificial poisettias and then sent me back to the store for one more and something to cover up the wood shavings that they were set in, then I finished decorating the planter and showed it to my boss. Luckily, he loved it and wanted a woman's opinion. But that was waaaaaaaaaay too early for me.
