Already 2-0 up. Seems no chance. Giles was not able to extract anything out of the first two tests, England should prefer another batsman or another fast bowler

Actually Australia can't "loose" the Ashes as England currently hold them. Australia might loose the series (or win it for that matter) but only England can "loose" the Ashes (or retain them).
Currently Australia are 1 up in the series of 5, with a draw the most likely outcome in the second test.

I reckon Monty Panesar has to be included in the England side for England to be a chance. Ashley Giles is useless. He dropped Ponting twice, once in the first test and once in the second. Michael Vaughan might be back soon which gives England every chance of retaining the ashes.

Australia have already won the 2nd Test miraculously. From this point there is no question of their loosing the series. The only question remains to be answered is with what margin they will be able to win the series.

A long way to go yet. Flintoffs ankles already playing up and we don't look capable of getting 20 wkts. Think melbourne is going to be crucial
