It seems like most people would rather be excited, in my opinion. I don't think anybody truly wants to be loved for oneself.

I'd rather be loved for myself, and I think that is what most people want most in life. Being excited is something you can control with your attitude, but being loved is something that you cannot control and is much harder to obtain.

Think of it this way: True love is something that will never go away. Excitement only lasts until the exciting moment is gone.

I prefer to be loved and not excited. I have been on that roller coaster ride and have had enough. This here kid wants to be loved for herself!!
