You could try your church or find out when Toys for Tots begins..and where they will be.

Otherwise, the only thing I can do is say go get a second job (assuming that you are working now)..so you can buy some gifts. It shouldn't take more than a week or two to earn enough.

By the way, he IS your child...you should be thrilled that his mother has left him with you for so long..don't view him as just another expense..

IF you are attending church, as some of the members about this. Sometimes a number of church members will assist in such matters. If you are not a member of a church, check at your workplace and in the phonebook under social services. There are social-service organizations that freely collect and give to the needy. Some of the schools also collect and give such items! I have no idea where you live but I would check with organizations like the YMCA and the Boys Club of America. You definitely want your son to be able to enjoy this season and feel at home with you no matter what his age! I hope that you are able to take care of this matter. Have a great holiday season.

What do you mean your oldest was "dropped off" on you. If he is YOUR child then it is YOUR responsiblity to help support and raise him. He wasn't just "dropped off" you're just ticked because you HAVE to face your responsiblities. Yeah kids mean expenses, that's life. I suggest you look harder for a job and try to collect unemployment. for the time you were off work. Besides Christmas isn't about the gifts, in case you forgot about that. It is about FAMILY and doing for each other...
