Guadalcanal, Wake, and Midway come to mind. The game setting has to be on Conquest. To be done in single player, host a LAN game. Set the game up to be Co-op and adjust then number of bots you would like to be in the game. Then enjoy. If not look for those maps when playing on line

If you are asking about warships, they were owned and operated by a variety of nations by the time of the First World War, including the United States, England, France, Germany, Italy and Japan. The locations of their berths should be available through a search of historical documents - you might even find that information online. The earliest submarine warship I know of was the
Turtle", built by American hands in an attempt to surreptitiously attack warships of England whilst they lay at anchor in American ports. Then there was the C.S.S. Hunley, built and operated by the Confederate States of America, which carried out the first known successful attack upon a standard warship, but which itsself was lost at sea with all hands within minutes of it's first and only successful hostile operation. The Hunley was recently raised from the seabed and is undergoing historic conservation efforts in Virginia. You can learn quite a bit about this particular episode of the American Civil War by googling the name CSS Hunley...

I don't remember seeing any subs in bf1942.

I've played right through the single player campaign, and blasted away at multiplayer for a while...

The only thing close was the boats that the allies use, but they ain't no sub.
