Why hasn’t NASA been able to able to attempt Space Travel yet? I don’t really think it’s fair that the Aliens have been using it for like, so many years And we don't even know how it works yet. How many light years could it take for man to get to Jupiter or Saturn?

You may want to like read a book and find out what a light year is before like using it in a question. Technology may seem slow if you're only like 8 years old.

The question should be why has NASA not done more manned missions into our solar system. The answer has to do with finance and politics. NASA is are the mercy of the president and congress. They determine the funding that NASA has available and they expect intimidate results that they can use in their political campaigns. This forces NASA to choose what projects they can allocate funding and which they have to put on a back burner or even eliminate. Take fore example the development of vertical take off and landing rockets, such as the Delta Clipper. NASA cut funding for its development, even when it was demonstrated to be a workable system. They did not have the funds to allocate to it, plus politicians did not see the need for such a vehicle with the Space Shuttle in existence. Fortunately, funding was initially taken up by a number of private companies including IBM and currently is one of the main projects that Google invests in.
It is mans mission to reach for the stars, but its the politicians dream to keep mankind grounded in the dust.

Is it going slow for you? We have only been in the air for a little over 100 years. Now we leave Earths orbit with payloads of satellites, space stations and space telescopes. If you ask me, getting off the 4 feet off the ground 100 years ago to our latest and greatest space odysseys is pretty freaking amazing.

Jupiter and Saturn are not a light year away. Light travels a little faster than 186,000 miles per second. You do the math.

How do you know we don't possess alien Technology now, today? It maybe decades now we could have solved the energy crisis, famine, disease, what else? Our "secret"Government is holding back, and allowing certain "oil company's", vehicle manufacturers to benefit until when? It is interesting to note mans desire to privately fund these ventures because some entity won't, why? We as Americans need full disclosure, full responsibility to solve our problems from yesterday. We have to take countrol of our Country's destiny!

Umm, NASA has attempted space travel. thats what they do. didn't you hear about the moon landing, and sending men and women into space? and what are you talking about technologay beingso slow? technology in general gets faster and faster every passing year.

well 'aliens' as the world knows is a wonderful creation of human brain!!! n if at all they exist n they hav tech far ahead of us.... then we r 'comparitively' slow ........the thing happening in science is dependant on two- THEORETICAL SCIENCE n EXPERIMAENTAL SCIENCE.... as tech ages n we go deep n deep into da secrets the more n more difficult it bcomes 2 find answers!!!!! da factors being 'the extent 2 which the human brain works.......BRAIN - it took many years 2 evolve from an idoit 2 become a genius ......
.....n.....for example.....theoratically the 'theory of relativity' was propes but it took 2 decades 2 prove it!!!. reason being all fields of science r interlinked..... one can't be taken 2 its peak without the movement of other!!!!!!
financial problem ......definitely poses a problem as well .. especially in da present years its effect is more............
n one doesn't know how many years it took aliens to develop that technology... wat u r thinkin of...as that they hav....
