Schooling is a waste of time (except for pre-school) because you are forced to learn what you don't want to learn and you are not allowed to question authority. Home-school is better

Schools are good for morals, but things that you learn (here in uk) are rubbish, kids should get taught the basics of maths, english, science etc. Unless they want to take it further. When do we use pythagoras or trigonometry in life. What they should be taught is debt management, social education (how to be a proper part of the community) and proper sexual education (i dont mean what they already teach you like what happens when an egg is fertilised) but how you feel, how to do it properly and safely. Children should be taught about things that they will actually use in later life, like how to get a job, hold it and then not spend their money on gambling, alcohol and drugs. Most people now can't even write a sentence without messing it up but they know how to solve equations.

How is home schooling better? Part of being in school is socialization, that is, learning about other cultures & how to get along with other people which they will have to learn how to do when you finally let them out of the house. I agree that I will never use some of the things I learned in school, but I got something out of every experience I've had in the real world.

No, school is not useless. How do you expect to make decent grades in college if you do not get any form of earlier education?

That does rather depend on the quality of the teacher. Also, don't forget you are heading in to a adult world, they are not becoming children. It is adults who will employ you.
