First of all Michigan fans need to get a clue. You had your shot and lost so "Just Shut Up!!" Now, as far as the Ohio State vs Florida game is concerned, Ohio State will certainly be favored. Whether they will or no will be determined "ON THE FIELD" where it should be. Personally I think Florida is a better team than Michigan so picking them to play Ohio State was the best choice. Florida won the SEC championship. Michigan didn't win anything. Florida had a better record that Michigan 12-1 vs 11-1. I will say this, the BCS stinks!! We need a playoff system in order to eliminate all this controversy every year. Ohio State will win the game 31-24.

I'm a Florida fan and I will say that definitely Ohio State. They haven't shown a weakness AT ALL throughout the whole season and they have remained consistent. Although UF has managed to win all season, their stellar defense broke down after their controversial loss to Auburn. Teams that they should've destroyed, they ended up barely beating. This wouldn't have posed much of a problem if their offense was cooperating but even that isn't at its peak. The offense hasn't been at its peak in the season AT ALL and so don't expect for a miracle against a great Ohio State team. Expect UF to put up a challenge but in the end, Troy Smith will lead his team to victory en route to a Heisman trophy and a National Championship.

When I want to break down a game I start by looking at the Vegas morning line. -7.5 for Ohio State, Vegas usually gets it right, that is why they stay in business and are a Billion dollar city. Ohio State is the better team and without giving the game away will be the 2007 National Champions.

Ohio State will manhandle Florida. Florida doesn't deserve to be in the championship game. They aren't even the best team in the SEC (that's LSU). Unfortunately, LSU ran into a hot Auburn team (just like Florida) and couldn't get the job done.
To be really honest, Michigan should be facing off with the Buckeyes. They deserve it more than any other team out there right now.

I think its definalty a good matchup all the way around. Heres the things to consider
Neither team has proven to be completely unstoppable... oh,. your arguement is that Ohio st is undefeated? so what,... they only scored 17 against Illininois, and were a prayer pass away from that game going into overtime with Illinois having all the momentum and allowing just 2 first downs to Ohio st. in the second half. Additionally, lets not forget there were some iffy calls that could have gone either way in the Texas game including a 14 point swing questionable fumble recovery. Ohio St is a dominant team, but bullet proof they are not.
Florida is another great team, yes, they somewhat self destructed versus Auburn, but whats even more previlant in my opnion is the win the pulled out of there rear against SC. I mean, 3 blocked FG/extra points? If you need to rely on three amazing special teams plays to win, you obviously didn't bring your a game. Yet they did manage to make plays and win,... and overall, there schedule contained a few additiaonl powerhouses whereas ohio st had a few additiaonl creampuffs.
quick sidenotes before the conclusion
Michigan had there chance,.. Michigan is good, however,. they too had several close calls and against teams hey should have pounded (e.g. penn st. and Ball st. i mean copme on,.. Ball St.)
If anyone has an additional right to really complain,... why not Louisville? Oh they are a Big East team,.. ok,.. so what,.. the Big East has three incredible programs this year in WEVE, Rutgers, and the Cards... But the Cards averaged another incredible amount of points per game this season, as well as yards. Combined with the fact the put every game away accept the one in which a flukle penalty gave rutgers a chance to knock them off in regulation, they had one heck of a season. Unfortunatly, like USC, and Michigan, they failed to get the job done at the oportune moment, so thats just the way it is.
I think this is a good matchup, and in the end, I thik its definatly a 1 score game, perhaps even overtime.
I have a feeling, when its all said and done, Florida will actually pull this thing off. Why? Mainly, its not going to come down to players, both sides are stacked in both sides of the ball. Its going to come down to Urban Myer, and his ability to have his players prepared and ready for this game, and to put them in a position where they don't have to rely on blocked kicks to win. (although that never hurt anyone)
Oh,.. and my opinions is somewhat unbiased,.. I'm just a Wisconsin fan upset that with one loss and a top 10 ranking, no BCS bowl because rules are max of 2 per conference

Ohio State hands down! I don't understand why Florida is even in this game. Oh I forgot the SEC coaches and other southern coaches voted. I forget some times.

OSU. They have a better ground game capable of keepiing Fla.'s offense off the field. Sure Florida had a GREAT rushing attack, but ZERO passing to help maintain balance. Troy Smith is a better QB than Leak and will be very well-rested and prepared for Jan. 8.
