I`m not a prejudice person. There is no superior race GOD made us all. There are no more slaves there are no more slave owners. Why can`t people just start looking in to the core of the person and judging them for who they are as a person and not by color, race etc...Whites need to drop it and blacks need to quit using it as an excuse. We all have wants needs family we love hopes and dreams. The opportunity is there for everyone if you want it bad enough . We all have to eat **** every once in a while to get ahead... This black white issue is getting so old !!!!!! It`s over it`s done lets leave it in the past and ALL of us focus on the issueus at hand that unite us as United States citizens. It won`t matter what color you are to the terrorists that want to KILL US ALL

I HELLBENT agree with you 100%. Let's just all get along. If we have to be against someone, and we always do, let it be the terrorists. Makes more sense.

We all like our security blankets.

It seems to be a natural condition that we separate ourselves into something we can think of as better than others. Colleges have for years done experiments by arbitrarily declaring one random group to be better than the other, for an arbitrary reason, and it works! If we didn't believe our religion was better (more real, closer to what God wants, way to salvation) we wouldn't stay at that church very long. Ask most blue-eyed blonds if they want to change, and at least in our society the answer would be a resounding no. But blue eyes are not considered good in some parts of the world.
I don't think we will be able to separate ourselves from at least the curiosity of color, even if we can separate ourselves from the negative prejudice of it. It is after all a part of our identity, even if its just to fill out a form, it should mean no more than asking a friend with a potential blind date "Is he cute".
The issue of being part of a larger group such as a country is probably harder to grasp when you have been marginalized for many years, but a common enemy is helpful and time has shown that countries can work as one in the face of such times.

You are white aren't you? Ha ha

Issue as in singular? You seem to have quite a few
in that question.

I am as white as you can get. Still, I know that the economical
effects of slavery on the Black American people has not been rectified yet. Statistically they are still not as financially well off as Caucasian American folks.

There are so many other issues that need to be fixed.

Everyone's tired of it but it will never go away with all the racist people in this country both sides. Now both of these are ganging up on the hispanics & chinese.
