it should have never been that close

First off, Detroit really isn't as bad a team as some make them out to be. Horrible record as usual, yes, but they have played up to a few of their opponents.

Second, no win should ever be an embarrassment. Were that the case, the Bears should really be ashamed of how they've played quite a number of their games lately.

A win is a win and team standings don't include asterisks about how well you played.

A tough game from Chicago was to be expected. A tough game from Detroit is a different story ... and you should be embarassed by that. Anyone watching that game can get an easy preview on how to disrupt the Patriots, and with the right personnel, knock the Pats out of the playoffs.

No doubt. But hey Detroit has to play well every once in awhile, and the Pat's have to have an off-day too. As least they didn't get beat by Detroit!

Embaressing YES, LUCKY...VERY!! You should just be fortunate that they won the game...Detroit had a lot of chances to win that one! Do you think New England can play a game anymore without turning the ball over 3 times?

I watched the whole game and your right it shouldn't have been that close considering Detroit turned the ball over twice once inside the 5 and once inside the 30 of N.E. and twice in there own end leading to 14pts. Do the math 14pts plus at least 6 more they shoulda been beatin alot worse. You should be happy they won.

I agree. I was watching it and thinking "hey, we could actually lose to a 2-9 team." Luckily they played great in the 4th quarter.

Hey it is a long season and you have your good days and bad days. They won and that's what counts. Just ask Peyton.
