I have been with NTL, TV, telephone and broardband for a year. Have had three boxes, two remotes, six visits from engineers, six bills have been incorrect. TV still freezes often can not access info' on next to come programs. Broadband drops out at least once a week. Have free calls package ,exception is '0845' numbers. Help line to NTL is now 0845 not 0800! BT and Sky will be here next week.

I had NTL TV, Broadband and telephone. I switched to Sky for TV and BT for telephone/broadband. They are MUCH better. Also, be careful, I switched in June and NTL took the direct debit out of my account in July and August (I DID give the required 30 days notice) and they still haven't paid me back the money they wrongly took.

Also NTL don't have Sky+

Welcome to the world of NTL!!! I've been a customer on and off over the years and the only reason I go back is price and the love of a 2 hour wait on hold to be told theres nothing wrong with my equipment only they don't know why it isn't working!Saying that my broadband is great always on, never fails hooray for NTl getting something right.

CHANGE IT!!

NTL is forever rubbish.
used to have it.
but then s0o many annoying **** things happened!!
and then when we phoned up the engineers, they told us that they'll be coming in the next week (at bla bla time).
waited the WHOLE DAY, but they came in a gaZzilion years later and told us that theres nothing wr0ng with it(!!).
my mum canceled the account and t0ok sky instead.
and BT broadband (much more efficient).
but then the next (NTL) bill still kept on coming.
bizarre. s0o s0o bizarre~

Hi im with NTL and TELEWEST iv got two cables services goin with those two i think they r brill i avnt ad any trouble with them at all all three seervices work they r alot better then bt was with bt charged me £478 phoned them up theey told me it was 5 months advance charges and NTL an TELEWEST are the cheapest around

i agree with you, im with them too for all three, but when i was with sky, i had signal problems one day, they me £60 to come and fix it, they were only here 2 minutes and i had to pay for the phone call, at least with ntl if they are called out its free, unless it is your own fault (well i think they have the right then anyway), so overall the costs are better, and they have always taken the right amount off me, i have been with them for nearly a year

we got them to do phone tv and internet. they couldnt do the phone as there was no space on the junction box but they still charged us. so got rid of the phone and tv. helpline is a nightmare but the internet is good very reliable so far. as for bt they hooked us up but didnt give us a new number, sick of getting calls for the previous occupant. all in all they're all the same especially telewest, a shower of robbing bastards. keep an eye on ntl they have some people who work for them giving out personal information. got a phonecall supposedly from ntl wanting to double check our bank account details, i told them to get stuffed.

No Ive now gone back to sky,as when i had NTL i spent more time behind my TV turning everything off as it had frozen.

NTL its cheaper than the digital because its crap, it cuts off when ever it wants to usually right in the middle of a film.

get rid of it and get the digal its a big more but well worth it.

My NTL internet and phone services are fine and I've never had any problems with them.
