i am still having promblems with my knee . i am going to school today to talk to my teachers and ask them could i take a leave of absence until after christmas . so my knee can heal better . my husband thinks i shouldnt go to school if im in pain . do you think he is right . i will go back to school after christmas . what do you think . i would appreciate any advice you give me . thank you .

I'm sorry to hear your in pain. but I would explain that to your professor and see if they can setup on-line assignments. for a couple of weeks till you get back on your feet. if not I would consider not taking a leave. I know from experience that once you leave if is so hard to catch back up. and that can become very intimidating. so I would think really hard about it. there is only a few weeks left till break. that is up to you but you should think about it before you answer maybe taking a leave of absence is not a bad idea but if you quit you might regret it for the rest of your life as when you grow old and do not have your high school education you will be home collecting welfare or stuck in some tiresome job that you may not like but with a highschool education it gives you the option to further your education and get a rewarding job that you can enjoy i hope this answers your question Honey I will see you after school remember be ready when i get home at 1 or shortly after

It is best to keep up with your school work. Can you get some crutches or a knee support brace maybe to help? I wouldn't take a risk of damaging my knee further by walking on it..you should see a doctor to find out what the problem is.

i think your husband is right i mean if you have another chance to go back to school then wait because if you are in pain then you dont want to be in school and uncomfortable i had surgery on my knee i am 16 and i have to wait until after Christmas to go back i mean i have a lot of work to make up but id rather have a lot of work then a lot of pain hope i helped

I think your husband is right because he cares more about you than your school work. But you need to know if you are really in the pain. Also ask your doctor if the pain is bad enough to keep you out of the school.
