Are you able to get me pictures of the headstock, and the front and back of the guitar? This would help immensely.

Just as a general thing, most Silvertones from the 60s were made of masonite, and were painted black glitter with white wallpaper sorrounding the sides. The bridge was chromed steel with a wooden saddle on it. Tuners were 6 in line and all on a single plate, usually with white buttons. They had 1, 2, or 3 silver "lipstick tube" pickups.

These things are just common things but there are variations since they were made by 3 or 4 different companies for Sears. Silvertone was not a "stand alone" brand until 2004 when Samick http://spguitar.com purchased the name.

**EDIT** Oops..you said acoustic. I'll definitely need a picture to identify it. Sorry.
