Ok its been said many times before, but why does Cristiano Ronaldo blatantly dive and worse still how does he get away with it? yeah he is a brilliant football, easily one of Manchester United's best players but last weekend's game against Middlesborough (02/12) was a typical example of his cheating. When you watch the replays and see that he goes to ground when then is clearly NO contact, its disgusting and shameful and his team mates and Manager should be embarrassed, not hugging and congratulating him for "winning" a penalty or freekick. How do Manchester United fans feel about him? Surely after his antics at the World Cup (winking and smiling after helping getting Wayne Rooney/Man U team mate sent off!!) you'd think he'd clean up his act...obviously not.
Ok so there are alot of divers in the premiership, but Cristiano has to be the worst...or best (which ever way you look at it)

I Have been a united fan for 40 years and i don't condone it. I have said this before i thought SIR ALEX had sorted the RONALDO problem out. No one is bigger than the club and TRUE UNITED fans don't want to see that.We are much better than that and it won't surprise me if SIR ALEX takes a dimmer view of this than the ROONEY world cup incident.

Ronaldo has always been a diver and United will not be bothered as they are always favoured! I have seen players diving but they don't do it as often as Ronaldo. Its bad for the player, the club and for football though!

Why will FIFA do nothing about it? Football thrives on controversy - it's what makes so many headlines. Ronaldo's punishment = nothing, so he will do it again soon cos he knows he can get away with it. FIFA must do something about this.
What annoys me is that SOME Man U fans were moaning at TWC when we was diving, but they're quite happy for him to dive to get their team points.

every single club has its divers, yes your right ronaldo is the best at diving ( pratice makes perfect )
but if he was playing for your club and he won a penalty would you be upset?
No you would be rubbing your hands saying nice one

that at the weekend there was no contact but have none of the people here ever fallen over when there was no contact the keeper got in his way and he had to stretch to avoid him and thats what brought him down
as for the world cup he did what he did because he is a proud portugeuse player if half the england squad had the same pride in their country then they might actually win something instead of always having a scapegoat and a sob story when they come back from any major tournament
im not a huge ronaldo fan i think the better question is why is he so wasteful in possesion
i think it is flavour of the month to get on his back and opposing players are thriving on that fouling him and then claiming he is diving
but hey they did the same to pele so history repeats itself again

i was at the middlesbrough vs man u game at the weekend, im a middlesbrough fan. if it was a penalty then why didnt our goalkeeper get a yellow card? ronaldo did dive. so did rooney in that game near full time. the ref was probably from manchester thats why he gave it. too much diving in football. thank you please.

Very shameful for a man of his stature. He is a great player, But Man U should not be proud of this victory, no matter how much they dominated. I hate cheaters and i hate divers. What goes around comes around.

His a cheat and he gets away with it because he plays for United, if he played for Chelsea that would be mayhem, look at the stir which was caused when Drogba dived, Ronaldo does it and no one complains, typical Media, they love United
