I live in the northeast soon coming to houston. Now do you in Houston rake leaves in the fall, or do the leaves never fall because of the location in the south??? ( I do know its has snowed a little before but I also heard - it snowed in the morning by noon its all gone.

Leaves always fall even if you're in south america or an island, that's just the nature of trees.

Good luck in Houston and get yourself a car, it is a very very large city.

It's not a dumb question. The leaves fall slowly at first. Once winter hits later in December you can prepare to see a drastic change.

My landscaper usually rakes my leaves in late Dec or January. Since it is Houston it's not too cold and usually all of the leaves have hit the ground by then.

Leaves need to be raked everwhere? Denver is more like the
climate you describe. Texas is nice but a big change from the northeast. Be sure to get a Cowboy hat and some good boots.
Then you look like a Texan. But talk about weather . Anymore you get snow in California, and its 70 degrees here in Phila in December . I think weather has changed drastically lately

yes the leaves fall from the trees in winter, it almost never snows.
