I have one of those stoves where the elements are covered with a flat surface which is made of ceramic (I think) and there are stains that just won't go away, even though they look like burn marks they are not, the stove is practically brand new. We were told that this was not a problem anymore with this kind of stove top. We tried everything, including a ceramic cleaner to no avail. Anyone know what to do?

The website I found is very clear on this problem. But it comes in two parts, so make sure that you read both. After reading this I am absolutely sure that I am not going to pick up one of these cook tops!
