A victim? Hell, no. More commercialism! More commercialism! More commercialism! :p

If it makes you happy, then go with it. Nothing wrong with being excited; nor is it a sign of falling victim to a commercialized xmas.

May the xmas camel spit nothing but delicious figs into your stocking.

Merry Christmas to Powerpuff!!
If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, the one whose birthday we are celebrating, then, yes, put up your decorations and enjoy them now. When we do this, not only does it inspire us and give us joy and pleasure, but it reminds us that this is not just about a routine commercialized holiday; but a reverent Holy-day. So, why not enjoy the whole month of December as a special time of remembrance of the One who came to earth over two thousand years ago. He had a purpose for coming, so we prepare to celebrate, not just the day, but the whole month. Think about what month you were born in. Does it make you happy to know that you will soon have your special day that month-your birthday?
You probably look at that whole month as a time to celebrate, then when The Day arrives, you feel really great to be alive and thought of as special; because you are. Well, Jesus is very special too. We don't know the actual month and day of His birth, but Dec. 25 was set on the Gregorian calendar as the day of celebration. The Jewish calendar is different.
So, Merry Christmas to you and your family and a very Happy New Year too.

No, it's not too early to put up your Christmas decorations. We put ours up the day after Thanksgiving. That way, we have a full month to enjoy our decorations. We love looking at the beautiful lights. Some people don't put their decorations up until the day before Christmas and take them down the day after Christmas. I love to celebrate the season, so the longer the decorations are up, the happier my family is. Merry Christmas to everyone and may you have peace, love and joy in your hearts!

Put them up!!! We put ours up the day after Thanksgiving this year, but last year my mood kept them from going up until well into December. I say, if the mood strikes, do it! And have a Merry Christmas!
