In my computer, The DVD unit has no sound ; the sound controls are "ON" ; what could be the problem?

If I play audio CDs, the sound is OK; if I play DVDs, there´s no sound

make sure your analog cable is connected from the dvd player to your sound card

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

it could be a problem with your computer reading the disk. you might need to get your computer checked out by a professional.
