I can just tell you from my experience - that the more guys dislike gays and joke about them - the more they are endangered to be gay themselves (and they want to hide it).
True love is possible in all directions, read the American Author Marion Zimmer-Bradley for example.

I think so. I wish more people would be more open minded. I've met lots of gay people and they're all good people, they just happen to like somebody who's their same sex. Big whoop. Let them be happy.

Sure it is, anything is possible.
I have several gay friends, whom have been in long term relationships, I believe their love is true.
