masturbation is totally normal and ok. But keep in mind the more you masturbate the more desensitized you become to other stimuli

It's more than okay for your health. It's very beneficial. I don't think it's always true what people are saying here, that you'll become desensitized to other types of sex. For females, masturbation usually creates an unleashed sensation unlike that which we share with our partners. Being with someone you harbor deep intimate feelings for is not going to be pleasure-less just because you masturbate. Three times a day is pretty normal and it shows you have a healthy imagination. I think a lot of times people try to make us feel dirty or weird about our sexual habits only because deep down inside those people are ashamed of their sexual habits. The "smart" opposers of masturbation will demonize it by claiming it's not good for your mind, body, or spirit but science tells us otherwise.

It's fine Bunty - it just shows that you have a healthy sex drive. When my wife was single and between relationships, she used to masturbate a lot and it never did her any harm at all. If I'm away she still does - it's the same with me too!
