I used to connect to secure mail sites. But for the last 4/5 days I can not connect to any secure sites requires athentication(password) and as a result I can not check my mail. the sites are for example, hotmail , msn messneger.

If you are being asked for a password it sounds like the administrator of the PC has altered your Internet settings to increase the security of your PC. This may resolve in the firewall and site filter being increased.
If you aren't the owner/admin of the PC you will need to ask for the password or ask for the filter to be decreased. Medium security setting will normally provide the cover needed.

open tools.Internet options and privacy see what it set on default is best setting.click sites see if msn as been blocked or hotmail just click on it then click enable.
