An iPod is a digital music player made by Apple. It plays mp3's or apple's own format of songs.
All others do similarly.

An Apple i-Pod is just the same thing as a MP3 or MP4 player. If you open an i-Pod Nano, you will find inside a little board and a flash drive. The difference is just the firmware. The firmware is just like a software intergrated in one of its chips (the flash drive). Apple does note build flash drives. All flash drive are build on China and Indonnisia. I could say this, because I'm a Technician and I sell all kinds of MP3 and MP4, even i-Pods in my store in Puerto Rico. The difference is the price, if you want to spend money buy Apple if you want to hear good music and save some money buy anything else.

ipod is also an mp3 player, however, you can purchase mp3 songs only from itunes. better search the internet using "ipod review" or "creative mp3 player review" "sansa e200 review" or just simply type "mp3 player review" so you will know the other mp3 players aside from the ipod.

I would recommend that You get an Ipod for your child because its easier to use and it looks cooler than the average mp3 player .Check this out

iPod is Apple's version of MP3.
I am making the same decision. There are about a million different kinds by many manufacturers. I would definitely just ask my kid which one they want, how many GBs, what color blah blah blah. There are just too many of the things to make a decision (especially if you have no idea about them to begin with)

Mp3 player plays only Audio
I pod's memory is bigger than Mp3

iPod is just a brand of mp3 player, very trendy and very simple to use, if your willing to spend the money get one
