books don't kill your eyes, like your monitor does. Ebooks don't waste paper, like books do.

ebooks tire your eyes and you cannot carry ebooks in your handbags. Books are still cool and the feel to turn a page physically after you have read it, cannot be matched by mouse clicks. Believe me, it will take a decade for the geeks to come out with a better solution to lay back the books over e-books.

I just read the entire Lord of the Rings series on my computer screen last week... Argh! My eyes... I think I ruined my eyes!!

Personally I like the 'feel' of a real book. It seems to make the reading experience more personal, like I can enter the story. When I read it on the computer, it's like I am just reading words.... But that's probably just me.
Also, you can read a book anywhere, even when there is no electricity.

There is no advantage to books over e-books. E-books are printable if you like to destroy the planet, they are search-able, they are easy to transport. I can't think of any advantage to a book other than the lack of power requirement to read it.
