Ok I need answers fast because I have an appointment this morning and just want to prepare myself.....Im on birthcontrol and was on it a few months (but experiencing breakthrough bleading). My bf and I had sex 2 days before my peiod (on my 3rd week in the pack) and then again on three days after my period (3 days into the new pack). We used condoms both times. However, the second time it got a tiny bit soft before withdrawl. Could I have gotten pregnant either of these times?

you're on birthcontrol... so no, you're most likely not pregnant. You also used condoms.. even if he did get soft a little, it should've stayed in the tip.

It's alright, don't stress about it. Birthcontrol keeps you from ovulating.. he could empty buckets of sperm in you and it would still not work. Unless you are not consistent with your pills or on antibiotics, you're fine.

FYI, if you take antibiotics, you can not rely on your pill. Talk to your doctor about it.

Try to calm down and relax. Break through bleeding is common in some women when they start to take birth control . Usually your Dr. will tell you this when you start. Make sure that you tell him that you have some break through bleeding because he may just say that is fine as long as it isn't frequent and just a bit of spotting or he may want to change your script to a stronger BC pill or a lower strength. But, as for the pregnancy scare...... chances are your not pregnant and you don't have to tell the Dr. everything that you told us unless he asks . If I am not mistaken the Dr. should of told you to at least wait 3 to 4 weeks to have intercourse or use some other types of birth control which, you should always use a condom along with the BC pills because the pills only protect against pregnancy not STD's. Good luck to you .

If you are on birth control AND used a condom, there is virtually no chance of getting pregnant. It would be far less than even 1%.

It doesn't matter if he wilted a little before he withdrew; the condom should still hold everything. And if it doesn't, that's why you were on birth control too.

Good for you for being responsible enough to know that you the pill isn't 100% effective for the first few months, and that you should use a back up method.
I don't think that you are pregnant...I think that what is happening to you is just like you said break through bleeding that is caused by your body adjusting to the pill. But good for you for getting yourself checked out just to be on the safe side.

if you used birth control and condoms then is really less than 1% chance that you could be pregnant.

I very seriously doubt that you are pregnant if you are on birth control and used condoms.
